Prep For Your First Workout

We are thrilled that you plan to join us for your first workout! Below are a few pointers to make your first Ethos workout a fun and productive one.

 

What to expect

Arrive to the studio a few minutes before the start of the class and park alongside the Ethos Fitness building. If you are joining us remotely log on to Zoom at least 5 minutes before the start of class. 

Depending on the in studio workout, you may want to set out your weights and mat. Bikes, rowers and TRX straps are set out for you and the instructors will ensure a proper fit before the start of the class.

What to wear

Wear light and comfortable exercise clothing. Wicking material is cooler than cotton for the more intense cardio workouts and short sleeves are cooler than long ones.

Wear closed-toed, stiff-soled shoes for a comfortable ride. All other workouts are comfortable in any shoe and in many classes like Beyond Barre, Fit Flow and Rebalance you can go barefoot.

Stay hydrated

Bring your water bottle. However, we have water, and in case you forget to bring a water bottle, you can get your very own branded Ethos water bottle for only $7!
