Class Descriptions

Ethos Beyond Barre:

Inspired by elements of ballet, yoga and Pilates, this full body workout focuses on improving balance, flexibility, core strength and overall functional mobility.

Ethos CardioStrong:

35 minutes - An action-packed cardio and strength workout featuring intervals and functional strength moves. You’ll need a set of weights (3-10lbs) and a mat for floor exercises and stretching.

Ethos Circuit Strength:

A strength training class taught in circuit format. Incorporates a variety of resistance training equipment (ropes, dumbbells, medicine balls, kettlebells, TRX, landmine) to take your strength to the next level. 

Ethos Cycle:

A cardiovascular workout led on the bike following the driving beat of the music. We create sets of seated and climbing combinations. We coach to intensity so you can follow along at home on any type of cardio equipment.

Ethos Fit Flow:

A vinyasa flow to create energy and get your day off to a great start. Classes incorporate resistance training to build strength and balance.  

Ethos Flow Strong:

Balance and stability sequences, that include strength work through the use of body weight and/or props, while also integrating the opening elements of flow.

Ethos MultiCardio:

An all-cardio class that allows members to join virtually on their home equipment or from the studio on a bike or rower. Join us on a bike, rower, treadmill, or elliptical trainer -- or log on from your mobile device to walk or run with us. We’ll keep you moving with a great playlist!

Ethos MultiCardio Interval:

An interval workout for use with any home-based cardio equipment or a bike or rower from the studio. Join us on a bike, rower, treadmill, or elliptical trainer. Each class incorporates both high-intensity interval training and strength sets to ensure you get the ultimate workout.

Ethos Pilates Fusion:

A blend of contemporary Pilates, yoga, and barre designed to balance the body, increase strength and flexibility, and improve overall well-being.

Ethos Rebalance:

A yoga-based functional strength and flexibility class focused on lengthening, strengthening, and rebalancing critical muscle groups. Release your hips and decompress your spine with this restorative practice.

 

Ethos Row:

A cardiovascular workout led on the rower and coached for intensity. A typical class includes 2-3 worksets followed by a culminating set or race to make sure you have the opportunity to challenge yourself. 

 

Ethos Row & Strength:

A mix of cardiovascular rowing intervals and full-body strength sets designed to maximize your calorie-burning potential. Classes combine intervals of rowing with challenging sets of resistance training.

 

Ethos Strong:

A strength workout incorporating bodyweight and dumbbell exercises. Increase lower body, upper body and core strength in a format that builds in intensity each set while challenging your balance and stability. 

Ethos TRX:

A workout using the TRX suspension trainer. An effective way to challenge your whole body (lower, upper, core), build strength, and get your heart beating, using just your own bodyweight. 


Zoom class:

  • Our instructors will open Zoom about 5 minutes before the class starts. Expect a little chit chat with the instructor or other members. If you are more comfortable leaving your camera off, we are ok with that. We want you to be comfortable.   

  • If you are using a laptop or iPad pin the instructor's screen (three little dots on top right) to get a full screen of their image.

  • Mute your mic

  • If you are using your phone consider using headphones so you can hear cues and music better


Late Cancellation & No Show Policies

Our instructors like to know who is coming to class each day so they can be best prepared. If you sign up and your plans change please alert us with an email to manager@ethosfitnessbloomington.com or text the instructor directly if you know them. We do not think it’s appropriate to be charging cancelation fees at this time, but we would appreciate this courtesy.
