What inspires you?
Passion, dedication, curiosity, and striving to do/be better. Acknowledging and celebrating progress, no matter how small or large.
What's your fitness background?
I've ran recreationally for most of my life, but over the last 4 years I've turned that love of running into the love of triathlons. I've completed 1 full Ironman (hopefully more soon!) and a handful of 70.3, Olympic, and Sprint distances. Triathlons changed the trajectory of my life and is what motivated me to pursue becoming a full time personal trainer and now an indoor cycling instructor.
Any cycling, academic background, or certification?
I graduated from IU with bachelor degrees in Religious Studies and Classical Studies with focus in Art History and Latin... so not much to do with the fitness world.
I am a certified NASM Personal Trainer and recently acquired my certification from Schwinn as an Indoor Cycling Instructor
What do you like about cycling at Ethos?
Ethos is like no other studio I've been at before. The focus on cycling as improving all aspects of an individual (mind, body, and soul), not just the physical, is something that truly resonates with me. I's something that I try to incorporate not only in my cycling classes, but also in my daily life.
