What inspires you?

Group fitness; I’m a HUGE fan!  I feed off the energy in the room and I’m notorious for numerous and repetitive fist bumps!

What’s your fitness background?

My fitness journey began in 2014.  Something just clicked; I wandered into a rowing class and have been hooked on group exercise ever since. 

In 11 months I lost over 100 pounds.  You’ll find me working out in many local studios and gyms here in Bloomington and a few in Indy. 

I compete annually in the Indoor Rowing Championships and have my eye on a Tough Mudder race, trail cycling and more exciting outdoor activities this summer.

Any fitness, academic background or certifications?

I am a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Schwinn Indoor Cycling instructor, Indo-Row, Shockwave, and TRX instructor. 

When I’m not working out (or occasionally sleeping), I work as an IT Consultant in cybersecurity.

What do you like about fitness teaching at Ethos?

I met Tatiana in IndoRow and Shockwave classes. She roped me into my first cycling class a few years back, as a cross training option.  Once I got over my initial sore behind (not to worry, we have gel seats for the bikes!), I’ve been hooked on cycling ever since.  It is great that Bloomington now has a world class cycling studio.
